Californian Governor Schwarzenegger Proclaims February 2010

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger delcared the month of February to be "California Olive Oil Month".  Citing California's agricultural importance, he declared, " Our Golden State’s agricultural diversity is unrivaled in the world, and olive oil is one of our fastest growing industries. Olive trees were first brought over by Spanish missionaries, and their acreage in our state is expected to grow annually by 10,000 acres in the next ten years. Moreover, our state produces 99% of all olive oil from the United States."  On a recent tour of the World Ag Expo in Tulare, California--the world's largest agricultural trade show--The Governor paid a visit to the Nurstech booth to show his appreciation for Nurstech's role in developing this important commodity.
