Denomination and synonymy:
The new olive variety Vas One was obtained by Genetic Program of VIVAI ATILIO SONNOLI in Uzzano (PT) – ITALY.
Agronomic and commercial considerations:
Variety very adapted for the high density system. It has an optimum vegetative development and it is adequate for the formation in central axis. Very adequate for total mechanization of the plantation with fruit removal at harvest higher than 90%.
Variety very interesting for the oil quality. Oil adequate for any type of blend or as single variety for gourmet and high quality foods.
